Hi Scott, I recently came across a previously classified document titled Air Land Battle 2000, it's from the Eighties but seems so relevant to today, any thoughts?

Thank you Scott as always. I only just starting learning Russian, a long time promise to self if ever I would stop working. Not related to recent events but rather because some of the most beautiful passages in the English language were translated from the Russian. What must it sound like in the original? It’s a long time “just got to know.” My “mandate retirement” made this happen. Your hosts in Russia may wonder what “mandate retirement” means. Let’s just say I’m a refusenik! We have a current regime in Amerika that creates refuseniks like never before. My comment: I may be no Professor of history, but consider personal correspondence between JFK and Khrushchev. Consider personal correspondence between Lincoln and Alexander ll. Consider the transcontinental RR in the US originally envisioned by William Gilpin to hook up with the trans-Siberian RR at a tunnel under the Bering Straits. What happened to Alexander? To Lincoln? To McKinley? To JFK? What happened to the planet was, I believe, ignited by the very sentiment and PLANNING for cooperation between the US and Russia. I believe this friendship and cooperation can and must come true as the long-time generational political and financial interests that funded world wide destruction become irrelevant. WE THE PEOPLE can make this happen!
