Excellent piece! I have my doubts about Elon Musk, as I do about all billionaires, as to their end-goals. No one makes that kind of money by being a nice person. But it will be interesting to see what he does. And we have to note that the billionaires are not all "friends". In fact, it appears there is a lot of division between them. Musk bought Twitter for one reason and one reason only: to purge his favorite social media app of leftist accounts and turn it into a far right playground where LGBTQ+ persons are targeted for harassment and murder, where leftists especially anti-fascists are treated likewise, where Covid is downplayed even more instead of being recognized for the airborne version of HIV it is, and where he can freely bully and ban those who dare criticize him. But hey, at least pedophiles like Matt Walsh, Tim Pool, Jordan Peterson, etc. can vomit up their darkest thoughts onto Twitter again without fear of reprisal. Next Musk will bring back R. Kelly.
I find it interesting Musk buys Twitter 6 months before he is to start human trials with Neuralink. His motives are hardly likely to be motivated to give us free speech. Remember he wants to merge humans with AI in the hope to prevent AI taking control of humans and turn Twitter into an Everything App which will require Digital ID which will serve to crush free speech. No doubt he sees a future where we will tweet our thoughts which will be recorded on blockchain and analyzed for evidence of thought crime that will be punished with a deduction in social credit score, followed by suspension if not termination.

BTW-I had more free speech on Twitter before Musk than on certain Telegram Channels. Thats not saying much.
