Pretty much the entire population of Crimea and Donbass are on the kill list.

Now, for bonus points, pretend that the Russian government or its cutouts were to maintain a similar kill list. What would the Western response be? How would the MSM react?

I intend to write to my two Senators the fact you are on the kill list of an organization funded by my tax payer dollars and will reference your account here. An abomination. Utterly so. A manifestation of the level of my country's corruption today. And its abject fear of the truth, its tellers, its absence of conviction in the power of truth to empower justness and democracy, and its fear of losing control, ie power. Such rigidity, bleak weakness, insecurity and shallowness in the leadership core. At a time when penetrating insight into the deep thread of evolving changes demands creativity to discern the nature of acceptance of these changes in interrelationships, what psychologically must be relinquished and what to be included if greater Life is to be served. A country long enchained to capitalist values and corporate dominance, its cut throat competitive stance favoring consolidation into monopolies, its stark sociopathic disregard for life and democracy in its service to untrammeled power and the big dollar (witness Norfolk Southern railroad track record re communities and employees), can anyone be sanguine about the capacity the leadership has for collaboration, much less the humility, creativity, maturity, strength and compassion for shifting into a stance that makes the most of today's currents of change? That can revision what the heart and soul of this country serves? Thank you for your courage and integrity.

Mr. Ritter, if you "...have been on the Myrotvorets “kill list” since early summer 2022", then your death sentence is dictated by your own government, which undoubtedly has the ability to put an end to the criminal list. I hope and wish, Mr. Ritter, that you live many, many years, and that the war started by the US ends soon. Long live Russia!

Excellent article, the facts that underlie this war can never be repeated often enough, especially in the storm of propaganda emanating from the mainstream media. Stated with clarity and passion as always, thank you Scott.

Could you expand on the murder of Andrea Rocchelli and why do you think that it was the SBU?

As an American, I understood the implications of Russiagate and what it meant for the US. I decided because of it to move to Russia to try to be a liaison of some sort, plus I had a feeling I would be safer there. After the murder of Abdulrahman Anwar al-Awlaki, I knew our Constitutional rights had about as much value as the lip service of every politician. We are expendable in their eyes.

1st - wet blanket advise - yours - functions to block energy and increase cynicism/ perhaps, you do not care what the range of potential responses to your comment could be...if that is the case, then, the comment is not to support but instead is to serve your own ego's self importance. If you do care what the impact is of your "expect nothing"attitude, then you would keep it to yourself. If mobilizing support to keep Ritter safe was topmost in your thought, you'd say - I'm behind you 100% and will do so myself, will write a letter to the editor of my town newspaper, and encourage everyone I know in my network of friends and social platforms to spread the word.

2nd - Choosing to do whatever I can to promote Ritter's safety is matter of a personal conscience. Not doing anything, is to serve the forces of death. To expect that my impact will take a particular shape in the external world is relatively unimportant in contrast with the deed reflecting how true I am to my Self.
