Scott's conviction was a complete set up. By both local and federal authorities. He was set up so they could discredit him at meetings like this. The Governor needs to pardon him now.

Another great article Scott. FYI, I am happy to pay $70 per year for a subscription and I encourage anyone who has not subscribed to do the same.

If young Semen is actually a supporter of Alexey Navalny - then that clearly identifies him as a CIA asset - or a 'useful idiot', for those who are.

Have we all seen the Video of Navalny's deputy meeting with the MI-6 in a coffee shop? He's seen and heard in that video, promising a NeoLiberal BONANZA and a FIRE SALE of Russian resources to Western Corporate interests - just as soon as Navalny's brought to power, in a 'Color Revolution', or a 'Regime Change' Coup - of exactly the sort, being pushed by young Semen and his portly accomplice.

I would suggest that what Scott was subjected to, here, was a CIA PSYOP - nominally being orchestrated through the State Department. Why ELSE would two News crews appear, looking to speak with 2 or 3 nobodies?

Scott we're about the same age and have been anti-fascist all our adult lives and we've both fought back at different levels, but I want to say that I admire your enormous courage confronting the rerise of fascism.

I'm aware you are risking your freedom and life to keep us properly informed.

Respect and many thanks.

Scott— masterfully written. A good example of leadership and intelligence warfare has always been the ability to empathize with an opponent or at least stand in their shoes. You did this here very well and as such, you make the weight of what you said on January 6th far more powerful. Maybe you found a peace movement that is not full of cowards, because certainly the panel was very good, from Joe through to the Georgian woman ;) who represented here views at the event so well. As you allude, Konev and the man-child are doomed to live their lives as you have described—- wasted and forever remembered as net-negatives. For her part, Ms. Militinska-Lake is at least honest and an up front opponent, as I can tell. She’s wrong, misguided, whatever, but at least not a cuckold. Bravo.

Thanks for writing this up Scott, always good to know what the opposition is getting up to.

It is disappointing that they are allowed to conduct info ops inside CONUS with the goal of shutting down American talk and discussion. More people here need to hear and consider the perspectives you and others are putting forth.

I’m always amazed at the organized Ukrainian propaganda campaign on YouTube. A few months ago I began to see recommended channels of war “news” which were all basically the same. Stock footage of who knows what and a computer voiced reading of current results of the war. Always highlighting casualties of the Russians and the great Ukrainian victory without any further reference as to source. There were always only a few hundred “subscribers” and several thousand views—indicating at best a new channel. Bunches upon bunches of simplistic, “Slavia Ukrainia (sp?)” slogans in the comments. One channel after the other, same process of reporting stat’s more or less. If you commented, you got shouted down, usually by sloganeers. I assume useful American idiots. I stopped viewing and commenting and started downvoted the videos and blocking the channels as they came up. Seems to have lessened the YouTube recommendations of such to me. But man they were coming out three or four a week for a while there.

A popular Serbian maxim, "На муци се познају јунаци" would translate as, "Heroes are recognized by the way they bear suffering".

Witnessing the devolution of the institutions that made you proud of your native land would surely count as suffering. Being falsely labeled a traitor by parasites who have NEVER stood up for anything, while they cover your mouth when you try to speak would cause anyone anguish. Knowing that powerful and unscrupulous men could (and have) deprive(d) you of your means of earning, not to mention your freedom, is no small cross to bear.

Scott and Dan have endured all of the above in the preceding decades. In the face of such personal cost, their humility and perseverance has been an inspiration to many. They have literally breathed hope into those it had abandoned. I thank them for the example they have provided and hope their efforts are rewarded. Truly, they are heroes.

When the Ukraine citizens of the Donbass voted for independence from Kiev in 2014, the Kiev forces started a war against them. Only now, after 8 years of the war they wanted, they squeal like Nazi pigs.

I watched it on YouTube and the "yellow pants" and the "true Russian" looked like they were planted to disrupt the meeting and not even too subtle about it.

Olena Militinska-Lake is using her being Ukrainian as a weapon - check the date of this case.

I'm too an American from Ukraine, where my ancestors lived for centuries. My brother fought for Ukraine in 2014-2016. My Ukrainian grandfather defended the Brest Fortress when the German Nazis invaded in 1941 and later fought for Stalingrad, where he was wounded, kidnapped by the German Nazis, smuggled from the USSR to Norway and enslaved in toxic nickel mines. He was returned to the USSR right after Germany capitulated. I have records from the Norwegian archives. I never met my grandfather, he died young from maltreatment by the German and Norwegian Nazis and the toxins he was exposed to in these mines.

How dare this Olena, the Banderite to speak for all the Ukrainians?! How dare she claim "annexation of Crimea" - U.S. government polled the people of the AUTONOMOUS Republic of Crimea (note, not Ukrainian, but autonomous Crimea) for years 2009-2013, and year after year, the majority voted that "Ukraine was going in the wrong direction." So why she is surprised that in 2014, after the Maidan Coup, Crimea had enough and voted to join Russia, or the referendum is only democratic when it fits a designated outcome?

There are plenty of normal Ukrainians in Ukraine who know what Zelensky's Nazi Junta is all about, and who are subjugated and are afraid for their lives to speak up in Ukraine, where all other parties are banned and all TV stations, but the Gospel from Zelensky are banned!

Scott, thank you for your work, knowledge and your courage!

It's a disgrace to his namesake, Ivan Konev, one of the great Soviet Generals of the Great Patriotic War, who was in fact, Marshal of the 1st Ukrainian Front, and one of the most respected Soviet military men. Now this possible descendant is undoing the heroism of his forbear. But this is just another example of how out of whack things are in the world today, where heroes are vilified, and villians honored.

Just read the whole article as well as watched the entire episode. I'm following Scott Ritter since last February 22. Before Covid-19, I had an idea that every American is an imperialist, as well as blunt and ignorant of the ground realities of the effects of the American Foreign Policies around the world.. Covid-19 and the subsequent events have opened up my closed eyes. It is primarily for a good number of authentic American citizens we are now getting in-depth insights of a large section of American people. Who are on the right side of the history unlike the ruling elites of their own land. It gives me a new hope. A hope that, this world will somehow survive from the clutches of the ruling elites of Washington DC. Now coming to this particular event, I can only assure Scott. Keep up your good work. You'll find to many Americans with proper intellect who'll remain on the right side of the history. This particular event proved, the dis-information providers are the minority, everywhere. There were lot of people in that hall with independent minds than those puppets of the western media. We need more and more his type of events.

Well done. Terrific description of the Disinformation crowd and their tactics for all of us to observe.

Semen might be an asset like a previous comment suggested, but I don't think so. If I had to bet, I'd say Semen is a closeted gay man who took the chance to emigrate from traditionalist Russia to 'diversity-and-inclusion' America, where he hopes to live out his 🌈 dreams.

Winter in upstate New York trapped with a Banderite zealot is a far cry from that photo at the end of Scott's article. I hope Semen gets to live up to his name.
