Our favorite weapons inspector released two videos on Wednesday as part of his popular Two-Minute Topic series. In one entitled “U.S. Attacks Europe,” Scott contends, “On February 8th of this year, U.S. president Joe Biden promised that if Russia were to invade Ukraine, that he would shut down the Nord Stream 2 pipeline…Today it appears that Joe Biden has made good on his promise.” In the other video, entitled “The West v. Russia,” he states, “Russia has transformed this conflict from a struggle between Ukrainian forces and Russian forces and their allies on Ukrainian soil, to a conflict where the collective West, together with Ukraine, is threatening Mother Russia itself.”
Scott spoke today with Russian military leader Andrey Gurulyov about how Russia will defend liberated regions, and he’ll address the pipeline explosion in more detail, and answer audience questions, on this week’s episode of Ask the Inspector. You can submit your question in advance here. Last-minute questions are more likely to be included if asked via voicemail.
In a riveting RT post published last Sunday, Scott describes how the CIA has repeatedly sabotaged him. You can read a vivid insider account of his relationship with the CIA in his new book, Disarmament in the Time of Perestroika: Arms Control and the End of the Soviet Union. The book serves as a template for improving US/Russia relations nowadays.
As many of you know, Scott was banned from Twitter when - and almost certainly because - his popularity was skyrocketing. He had merely given his analysis of the Ukraine/Russia conflict, yet Twitter bizarrely claimed he had violated rules against abuse and harassment. We’re acutely aware that other social media platforms could also try to silence Scott anytime. Rather than wait for it to happen, we ask that you find us now here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here. At the moment, our biggest audience is on YouTube. But in the long run, Rumble, Telegram and Substack will probably be our most reliable sanctuaries.
Scott was recently named among 72 people - including Rand Paul, Glenn Greenwald and Tulsi Gabbard - on a blacklist issued by Ukraine’s so-called Center for Countering Disinformation. The center’s acting head said they should be prosecuted as “war criminals.” Scott wrote in a Consortium News post that “the salaries of the Ukrainians who compiled this list appeared to be paid by the U.S. taxpayer using funds appropriated by Congress for that very purpose.” While Scott explores how to fight this likely violation of his First Amendment rights, we’re repurposing the blacklist as a badge of honor, and offering a t-shirt emblazoned with that sentiment. Ryan in Texas sent us a photo of himself wearing it, and told us: “It is a very high-quality shirt. Very soft. I’m a fitness guy, so I like formfitting, so medium is perfect.”
We started translating some of our videos into Russian this month. It’s a difficult process that would be impossible without the valuable efforts of several volunteers who responded to our call for assistance. We’re tweaking the format, so expect improvements soon. We still need volunteers to help us expand the operation. If you have any relevant skills, and are available to help, kindly fill out the volunteer form at Scott Ritter Extra. We particularly need translators, video editors, graphic artists, event organizers, sound designers, webmasters and writers.
