Without passing judgment on anything else, one way or another, that the movie was basically character assassination with artistic license was entirely intentional.

Great Interview.

While you may have thought the Cage question was for a laugh, I'm glad you asked it. One more example of the sway Hollywood has over the way the world thinks. It turns fantasy into reality.

I watched this interview, Scott! You have done amazing work. I've seen quite a few Victor's interviews but yours is definitely stands out.

In previous comments to your articles I wrote that you are the man of incredible courage with a very big heart. And will not get tired to repeat: GOD BLESS YOU!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

For me it is unbelievable to have sat in school as teenager, listening to our teacher about the evil Soviet Unition and Stalin's show trails to jail political opponents etc.. And then you grow up and see what the US, the beakon of freedom, is doing to people like Viktor, Assange, Snowden, Kiriakou and also Scott of course and quite likely many I do not even know of...

According to the movie 'Lord of War' .. . chance leads Yuri Orlov to discover his one talent - illegal arms dealings.

With his brother's help (working out of little Odessa in Brooklyn N.Y. USA), he reaches the top of his of his trade, supplying anyone whose check clears. His skills and quick wits bring him everything he's ever wanted, and help him elude a persistent Interpol/Agent.

In the end, the distinction between legal arms dealers and/or illegal arms dealers blurred to a point of vanishing returns. Yuri never spent a day in jail. .. and is probably somewhere selling surplus Javelin missiles for a dime/doz. today.

Two Big Thumbs Up

*not sure what any of that has to do with Viktor Bout? .. . but i'm confident Viktor's experiences and well-reasoned personal appeal that the Ukraine government seeks to suppress the diversity of ethnic origins, of language, of culture, of thought and habit that differentiate the people of Ukraine and the world - Slavi Ukraine - went straight from Scott's mouth to God's ear .. .
