Of course neither Putin nor the Russian government had any motive to kill Navalnyii. Doesn’t matter, they will be blamed, no evidence needed, just as anyone who points out, for example, the manifold absurdities of the official story concerning Jeffrey Epstein’s death will be branded a loon.

Of course, Navalnyii was no saint, to put it mildly. Doesn’t matter, those who control the narrative are the ones who decide, and making Navalnyii a martyred hero happens to suit their purposes at the moment.

Wow, great article. I hope you plan to continue on what happened after Harvard. I'm restocking this and sharing with some friends. Thanks for your hours of research.

Predictably 5X more "Column inches" in The Media, for Navalny than for the Murdered Children in Gaza!

The degree of hubris, self blindness, mental derangement and pure utter moronicity is demonstrated in this tirade from Biden. At a time when a man, a highly awarded journalist who has never been proven to have done any more than bring evidence of American Government War Crimes to the public is fighting, not just for his freedom and justice, but for his life, threatened by the very American Government Biden leads; and at this time, he sees fit to laud to the skies a man proven to have worked against the good of his nation and to have threatened death to a religions group, a thing Assange has never done. The whole world can see this stark, raving mad contradiction, but such is the blind psychopathy of the American Ruling Class, they cannot even see. Well, thank God the rest of us can.

Interesting and very detailed, although it seems unfinished. Are you writing a Part 2? It seems so far to have no bearing on his untimely death, which could be from natural causes, or was murder by one or more parties. He was certainly no threat to Putin or Russia now, lost above the Arctic circle in prison for probably the rest of his natural life.

I would just like to add, for accuracy that this statement " Russian President Vladimir Putin, who was appointed President by Boris Yeltsin on New Years Eve 1999," is incorrect. According to the Russian Constitution, Putin naturally succeeded Yeltsin as Acting President on Yeltsins' sudden retirement on New Years Eve 2000. Putin had been appointed Prime Minister, and according to the Russian Constitution, if the President steps down, dies, or for any reason cannot function as President, the Prime Minister becomes Acting President for a period of three months after which elections for a new President must be held. Should Putin, God Forbid, be unable to perform, therefor, Mishustin would step up. If he could not, The Chair of the Upper House would.

Putin has never not once, acted outside demonstrable law, and the rules of the Constitution.

Thank you for writing this! If only people in the west cared as much for Julian Assange as they care for Navalny.

Was Nuland seen throwing a poison cookie over the prison wall?😁 IF Navalny was killed, my money's on neocons or MI6!

Thank you for an exhaustively researched information. I did not to be convinced of Navalny’s contact with western intelligence, but your research firmed up my bank of information.

Reading about the CIA recruitment strategies was informative. The "Spy Rock" part of the story was wild!

Dear GOAT .. . of all Weapons Inspectors.

Well, Scott, came here to see if you had any thoughts or information on "Putin killing Navalny"! I am well-pleased ~ you've outdone yourself!

It's not logical (to me) why Putin would kill Navalny, or anybody else, incarcerated in a Russian prison. Essentially inviting world condemnation, whether he wanted it or not. It makes no sense.

While Navalny may have labored in relative obscurity in Russia, I suspect the only reason Americans know about him is from the CIA .. . and their surrogates in the medial and film industry.

The death of a traitor is well deserved, not tragic.

Thank you for this very well-researched article on Navalny. If our political masters in DC spent as much money, time, energy and planning on addressing the domestic problems in the US as they spend on trying to get rid of leaders of other countries, I wonder what the US would look like,
