We are on the eve of WW3 with the Germans giving permission for their tanks to roll toward Russia. Our nation needs to hear from Scott and Douglas. I live in Aotearoa New Zealand and I'd love Scott to come here and have a public meeting. I'm certain I could find some academics to speak alongside Scott in support. I have been a lifelong anti-imperialist and have good contacts in the anti-imperialist resistance in NZ. There is a better than 50/50 chance that we could fund it from here. We're conflict neutral Panamá - Sunny all year round, and visa free access for Russians if any special guests are interested. We also have booze and beaches.
Come to Symphony Hall in Springfield, Massachusetts. I have attended at least two of their events in their monthly series having heard from Steve Wozniak and Justice Sonia Sotomayor. You would fit right in, Scott. We need more discussion and debate in this country and arms control would be a great place to start a discussion. There are at least 5 colleges in the area (UMass, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Amherst, and Hampshire College) and many independent bookstores. Just don't mention the war ;-).

Call me a crazy 'conspiracy theorist', but for me there is a clear direct-line connection from the U.S. *response* to the events on 9/11 - e.g. Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc., etc. - and the events unfolding in the Ukraine today.
I'd suggest Scott Ritter appearances in Berlin (Germany), Poland or any of the Eastern bloc countries would be significant.
There's opposition to the crazy war mongering under the surface but total corruption among the political leadership class. Scott's clear-sighted no bullshit presentation could light a fire under resistance visibility in those NATO frontline countries.
